Help - Selection of Default Security Mode for Online Stock Trading Close

To enhance internet banking security, customer can select to default using either Security Mode with or without Security Device/Mobile Security Key to trade stock via HSBC Internet Banking, Stock Express or HSBC Mobile Banking.

If I do not have a Security Device/Mobile Security Key on hand, how can I apply for a new one to default using with Security Device/Mobile Security Key to trade stock?
If you want to apply for a Security Device/Mobile Security Key, please go to "Service Request" page under "My HSBC". We will be sending you the Security Device/Mobile Security Key by mail to your correspondence address within 3 working days for local address and 7 working days for overseas address. Upon receipt of your Security Device/Mobile Security Key, please follow the screen instruction to activate the Security Device/Mobile Security Key. You are required to have an active Security Device/Mobile Security Key on hand for the services.

If my Security Device/Mobile Security Key is lost, damaged or stolen, what can I do?

Can I change the Security Mode for Online Stock Trading any time?
You can change the selected Security Mode at anytime. Two-factor authentication is required for the change and will be effective immediately.

Is it applicable to H.K. Stocks, U.S. Stocks and China A Shares?
This new feature will be applicable to H.K. Stocks Trading starting from 10 Jul 2016. It will automatically applied to U.S. Stocks & China A Shares with effect from 28 August 2016.
