What are the different types of time deposits?
There are a wide range of different time deposits (and deposit periods) to
choose from. Simply select the deposit type and period available from the list
on your screen. Your deposit can be in Hong Kong dollars or foreign currencies
with the following deposit type and period:

I had a time deposit in Australian Dollar. Why was my deposit converted to Hong Kong Dollar upon maturity?
If you choose to receive the proceeds of your time deposit in a HKD account, it will be exchanged into HKD at the prevailing rate upon maturity. If you want to redeem your time deposit in the same currency upon maturity, please ensure you select an account of the same currency (i.e. AUD) as your time deposit.
